Sixty-two years since DAU's founding, countless students have attended and graduated. All during this time, there are people who have enabled students to make the convenient use of every facility, and who have maintained a pleasant environment permitting them to concentrate on their studies. Used to these conveniences, we do not realize or appreciate the silent labors of these people.
There is the building's female janitor who starts cleaning work at dawn. There is the bus driver, responsible for transporting students to and from campus. There is the security guard who watches over the campus all night and day. There is the information guide of the College of Humanities, offering help to students and visitors. There is the cook in the cafeteria, a mother to 20,000 students, in charge of providing healthy and nourishing food. There is the Hanlim dormitory staff who watches over students, regarding them as family.
These are the people who open the morning at DAU. Making our mornings brighter, their lives in turn need to be illuminated.
