‘The Seventh Environment Marathon Race,’ which was sponsored by KNN, was held on the 29th of last month.  As part of a hundred year
old campaign to recognize the importance of water and to protect its vitality, the environment marathon is held annually.  Approximately eight
thousand people signed up on the Internet to take part in this marathon, which started at Haeundae Olympic Park and went by Gwangan beach,
so it allowed you to see the blue sea as you ran.  This marathon race enabled you to appreciate the value of the environment and the beauty
of spring as well as the importance of good health.  There were four marathon events: a half marathon, 10km road race, a health run, kids run.
This reporter participated in the marathon race, finding out several things about it.

No Sang-gwon (45), a pacesetter in the half marathon, said “participants should have their breakfast two and a half to three hours before the start of the race," because "the marathon requires you to run a long time.”  And “when they arrive in the fairground, they should jog and stretch for twenty minutes before the start to help them to run.”  Also, “if you feel a muscle spasm, you must slow your pace and ask for help," No said.  Do not stop right at the finish line, you should keep walking as you drink some water.  After you get your breath back, you should continue to warm
your body to prevent hypothermia and stretch your body to relax.

The way you should run is to trot, the space narrow between your feet.  You should also land on the heel part of your foot first and then move your weight toward the front of the foot.  You should breathe through the nose and mouth together while running because breathing is intimately
related to tiredness, so you need to supply enough oxygen in order to get rid of lactic acid.  For physical strength exercise to have any effect, it
must be done by a healthy male adult more than three to five times a week before the race.

If you wanted to participate in the race, you entered by submitting a form through the Internet.  In the cases of the environment marathon, a
half marathon and 10km road race, the cost was 30 thousand won.  The health run cost 20 thousand won, and the kids' run cost 10 thousand
won.  There was a medal for participation for the half marathon and the 10km road race.

Most participants wore a memorial T-shirt which was delivered to them in a package for the marathon, but you could choose what you
wanted to wear.  It was recommended that participants wear two shirts, one long-sleeved shirt over a shirt with short sleeves because the
temperature falls while the wind blows during the change of season.

There are many marathon races which will be held in Busan besides the environment marathon.  Here are some marathon races in April
